2022 is off to a rocky start for Harry Styles…morally speaking.
Sigh, let’s get back on track, shall we?
On January 12th, It was announced by his official headquarters accounts across social media that Harry Styles will be headlining the already sold-out Coachella festival on its big return from a two-year hiatus, which was brought on unexpectedly in 2020 as a result of the pandemic that mercilessly swept the globe.
Now in terms of there being an active covid threat, it remains a mystery why Coachella felt April 2022 was a safe time to return. New variants of the virus continue to emerge every few months, the latest being even more transmissible than the one that preceded it.
Although I suppose none of this variant nonsense truly matters when the elitists who once preached to us about how to live our lives at the start of the pandemic suddenly decided the virus is now irrelevant because they want to make money and have fun again.
Case and point: Harry Styles.
I’m old enough to remember a few finger-wagging “stay at home” messages from Harry himself, as well as this oh-so charitable 2020 t-shirt campaign he launched to prove how virtuous and giving he was at the start of the pandemic.
But it turns out he’s just another poser. Yet another sanctimonious Hollywood hypocrite creating rules for the public they don’t intend to adhere to themselves.
Harry’s hypocrisy would explain why he decided to hike it all the way to Italy over the holidays despite rising covid numbers (as a result of the new variants) and vacation with his entire family (and Weinstein’s bestie Olivia Wilde) instead of staying home in the UK, which would have served just as well if the virus was truly of concern to any of them.
Harry later proceeded to attend a packed and maskless New Year’s Eve party hosted by his bestie James Corden…
And well…we all know how that turned out:
Taking all of this covid variant talk into consideration, there is still a very real chance Coachella 2022 might be shelved again, and I can think of a few people who would be totally ecstatic about that coming to pass. Probably the thousands of non-US Love On Tour ticket holders Harry has neglected for years now, who purchased seats in 2019 to see him perform Fine Line live and have been abandoned in a concert-goer purgatory of sorts ever since.
Many ticketholders are reportedly stuck in this dreadful (and dare I say highly unethical) limbo where their shows have been postponed indefinitely, yet they are unable to receive refunds. Yikes! For many, depending on their local ticket distributors, they are allegedly unable to obtain a refund because the shows have not been officially “cancelled” yet, but at the same time there has been no further communication from Harry Styles or his team about what these abandoned fans can expect next.
This has been an ongoing issue for years, since the tickets originally went on sale in NOVEMBER 2019! The very least Harry and his moronic team can do is ADDRESS the flipping issue like professionals? Is that really too much to ask? Are you that busy, dude? Doing what, exactly? Dragging around sweaters to feed into your desperate PR ploy to garner more attention for your upcoming movie?
A film that also happens to feature the son (Nick Kroll) of Harvey Weinstein’s biggest henchman (Jules Kroll) whose firm unapologetically silenced and intimidated his most vocal victim. But Harry being buddy-buddy with this dude shouldn’t surprise any of us in the least, since he is openly dating Weinstein’s bestie Olivia Wilde, who was name-dropped in a Weinstein allegation years before the 2017 Ronan Farrow exposé dropped.
I digress. Back to the abandoned ticketholders!
These fans allegedly no longer have access to their own hard-earned money, while Harry gallivants around the world doing whatever his priviledged ass pleases, and marching to his own amoral tune. They have also been robbed of a Harry Styles live-show experience indefinitely (while watching the US fans be prioritized again and again) and stiffed for years by him and his team on social media, all of which is far more of an emotional blow than someone as seemingly heartless as Harry could ever begin to comprehend.
And all this despite him managing to complete the American leg of the tour and willfully signing on for several US festivals in the meantime. As can be expected, these non-US fans are rightfully irate and are done being given the cold-shoulder by Harry and his lousy HSHQ social media accounts. Imagine how disenchanted and hurt they are.
Now back to his controversial decision to headline Coachella:
It disturbs many of Harry’s fans that he has chosen to align himself with the infamously problematic festival attended yearly by none other than a bunch of drunk elitist posers and Californian wannabes, and whose owner Philip Anschutz has come under fire in the past for donating copious amounts of money to anti-LGBTQ and pro-gun organizations. This is all of course highly antithetical to Harry’s shiny new “queer-baiting” and “oh-so-kind” and “oh-so-anti-gun-violence” brand.
Even Harry’s good female friend Cara Delevingne somehow had the balls to call them out on this issue and take a firm, principled stance against attending the event, let alone headlining it!
But Harry’s sketchy anti-LGBTQ associations should come as a surprise to no one since:
1) He is dating an unapologetic transphobe in Olivia Wilde who makes many reckless and degrading remarks with regard to the LGBTQ community and has gotten away with it for years now.
Harry is also still following Bella Hadid on Instagram who is a proud homophobe apologist. She actively supports and posts praise on IG for a violent homophobe (Daniel Chetrit) who attacked Harry’s ex-bandmate Zayn Malik on the streets of NYC in June of 2021, calling him a “faggot” twice in a viral clip obtained by TMZ. And that was before her family later framed Zayn for harassment charges by barging into his home unannounced with hired security to make demands about his daughter.
A lot of what Harry has done (and several of the Hollywood entities he has associated himself with lately for personal gain) does not sit right with many of his most avid admirers. It is unfortunately beginning to demonstrate he is nothing more than a hypocrite at heart, who is repelling more and more of his own fans as the years progress. I dread to think where he will end up in five years if he continues down this crash course of moral corrosion and narcissistic self-destruction.
He seems to be on a massive power-trip and a perpetual lapse in good judgement, which resulted in him linking himself with someone as morally repugnant as Olivia Wilde, and abruptly ditching many of his loyal team members to opt for a more “diverse” look in 2021. Tokenism at its finest.
People of color are not virtue-signaling props to be employed at an artists’ convenience in a post-BLM-protests-society. Nor is it acceptable to use them as a justification (or a pretense to gain sympathy) for ditching and hurting people who have been loyal from Day One, and whose appearance in the end didn’t serve one’s political aims, such as Adam Prendergast. (Adam has been with Harry since the very early 1D days.)
Harry’s “Treat People With Kindness” brand at this point is nothing but a laughable scam.
Ya’ll zstans are so cringy and dumb and desperate to hop on any criticism of Harry to make Zayn look good. Your “golden boy” Zayn is sitting around with 4 harassment charges on probation and a tarnished legacy because of the underhanded ties he made and as karma for dogging Harry for years, and he can no longer receive professional accolades for burning professional bridges like a child. He will never be better than Harry in any way shape or form. They are both dumb and flawed, but Zayn is heartless narcissist whose actions helped create another heartless narcissist in Harry. Anyone trying to hold one over the other at this point is just a deluded stan and needs to stfu and stop clicking on my website.
It completely saddens my heart that this article even has to be written but we just cannot ignore what is going on with Harry. He has gone “Hollywood” and all of the fans that have helped him get there have been kicked to the side and left on the floor. It’s disgraceful in what he is doing.
Now I am seeing articles saying that Eros might get his own spin off- he literally was on the screen for 30 seconds at the very end of the frigging movie! It’s bloody ridiculous with all this fawning over him as if he has done something incredible, I can’t bear it.
For all of the 1 person who rightfully calls him out on his fake and hypocritical shit that he is doing, 10 people will defend and continue to support him no matter what he does or says. He knows this perfectly well, so he will continue doing what he is doing as he will have the back up of his fans/stans. But eventually if he carries on with alienating his fans and the general public, those 10 people will become 5, then eventually will become none. He is already sowing the seeds for his downfall, unfortunately it may take years but what you put out in the universe will come back to you.
The Coachella thing is pure elitist hypocrisy but the worst thing is not refunding people for tickets purchased in 2019 and not even having the decency to acknowledge those people. Postponed indefinitely is the equivalent of being canceled. If they did the right thing and canceled the concerts so people could get their money back, those people may have gone to new dates when they were scheduled but instead, they callously rip people off without a word. I don’t know about Europe and the UK, but we know from the situation in Australia that there’s no way concerts are happening any time in the foreseeable future. Harry is extremely wealthy. He can cancel so people get refunds and not even feel it. I hate to say it but it’s despicable to do this to fans.

I’ve been dragging my feet when it comes to losing hope – thinking that he’s still got some good inside him somewhere and hasn’t become completely self-absorbed and money-focused. But with lots of eye rolling and cringing going on when watching recent clips of him and seeing stuff like this continuing to happen, I’ve concluded that I am also disappointed and done with Mr. Harold until he, with his actions as well as his words, does better. I feel super bad for all the non-U.S. fans with ghost tickets, especially thinking about his choice to want to perform for people who only know Watermelon Sugar over them.
The repercussions were so negative that they(HSHQ) said about shows in South America in second semester.🙄

I blame ZAYN massively about Harry’s bad and horrible actions in our days, Harry he made it clear to Zayn how much he loves him, and ZAYN give him the biggest stab ever, by making Gigi the mother of his child, while Zarry could have had a family both of them via a surrogate. And after that Harry change and became the devil, who doesn’t care about anything again. To me his been taken advantage of, that is why his beyond cold now, including to that goat 🐐 olive oil. But still Harry could have done something about his relationship with ZAYN by telling the truth or even write a book, Am scared for him, to much money still no happiness in his life, he is damage, to a point of no return. This is hard to read. Yes return the cancelled tour tickets money. When singers get star treatment they get their hangers on stroking them telling them they can do no wrong , how it’s only a small section on their unhappy fans. Harry, wake up. I never thought I’d write about Harry the way I’m doing lately. I have been following his career since 1D, he was always my number 1, sweet, talented, precious and broken many times. Now it’s hard for me to see the sparkle in her eyes. All of him is a character, dishonest, artificial and who disrespects who he was and struggled to be during Fine Line. Hearing those lyrics not only make me cry, they also make me angry, because what he wrote then clashes with what he does now.
I feel ripped off as a European fan, belittled. Harry will become a broken toy, another in Hollywood if he does not break with what surrounds him now, but perhaps this is what he wants, money, fame, power at the cost of losing himself along the way.

I think I took all the criticism pretty superficially… but so many people seem to have been directly hit by Harry’s bad decision-making. And he is so cut off from his fans. It was not even him posting about Coachella … like he knew he will draw criticism. Harry is trying to dip his toes into too many things… I hope he doesn’t burn his feet that it makes him unable to even walk.

The ‘I don’t use social media’ is getting old, I’m sure you can make a tweet or even get someone to make a tweet about the rest of the world’s tour situation without feeling its toxicity. Hshq is useless its just for posting things harry doesn’t want to post, no ones stupid its a image creation thing, harry’s a legend, a rare sight on the internet he doesn’t come and tell us to buy stuff, hshq does that he’s not like other artists who do that. But you can’t ignore the fact that social media has gotten you where you are, your fans for the past 11 yrs have gotten you here. I can understand the need to do better have a wilder appeal but he could have done that with his fans instead of abandoning them knowing full well they will still be just as supportive. It’s not like it takes much on his part he just had to press a couple buttons on a phone and that bate minimum work would be enough for the fans but alas.
